Due to multiple wicks, these candle bowls will burn faster, for a slower-burning candle follow these instructions.

Trim your wicks down to a ¼” before your initial burn, and each time before you light your candle. The shorter the flame, the longer the burn. If not you will cut your candle lifespan by 30% and produce soothing.

Only burn your candle for 2-3 hours. Burning it longer could crack the wood or cause a fire. It is normal for the wax to remain on the sides after burning, simply scoop it out and add it to your wax warmer.

Our dough bowl candle typically has a burn time of 40-50 hours. Due to multiple wicks, these candles will burn faster, so to get the most out of your candle, follow our burning instructions.

Are Dough Bowls dishwashers safe?

No. Never put any wood bowls in the dishwasher. Hand Wash only. Always protect the wood from extreme heat, cold, humidity, and temperature variations.

Can I use my dough bowl as a food tray?

We recommend reusing your dough bowl as home decor and refillable candles. Due to the natural fire retardant protection, we do not recommend using it to serve food. Get in touch with us for a food serving tray.

How to clean your dough bowl?

To clean and maintain your dough bowl, it is important to protect it from extreme temperatures and humidity. Do not use a dishwasher, as the temperature and moisture variations can damage the surface of the wood, making it dull and grayish and causing it to crack. Instead, hand wash only to keep it in good condition.
